cool! are you feeding them mice to get them to come to you so you can analyze them, or as part of your program to save them from starvation?
we feed them to see who is breeding with whom and to locate the nest. The male will hunt and if he has a mate he will take her the mouse, and if they have babies, she will take it to the nest. It's pretty cool. We also use it to get them to come close so we can see if they have a leg band and if so, what color it is.
