Hey hey hey, so I've been here in San Diego for a few weeks now and we are definitely experiencing what they call 'june glume' out here. It's over cast most of the time and cooler weather. I actually kind of like it. We have our really sunny days and it's not to hot to rock climb, bike, play tennis or whatever you want to do. I went to the Del Mar fair last night after work. It was the first day of it and they had this deal at Ralphs where if you buy $10 worth of groceries you get a ticket to the fair for $1. It's totally worth it because it's usually $10 to get into the fair. So that's what we did and Kori flirted with this guy that came in to work who also ran a roasted corn booth at the fair and got us free roasted corn. I love corn. Then we got some cotton candy and walked around looking at all the cool fair stuff. We got little stamp tatoos, I got a turtle on my upper arm and Kori got a scorpion on her shoulder. I've been getting bit by spiders or fleas or something I'm alergic to and while I was at the fair this lady put emu oil on my bites. She said it would help draw the poison out. I don't think it worked...nothing is different.
Well, today I'm offically buying a phone. I've been bidding on different ones on ebay but they keep getting away but today I'm sitting here at the computer until an auction that I win closes. I keep getting messages from Janet and Karah asking me to call them but they never leave their phone #'s!! Plus I'm sure Stacy is wondering why I haven't called her yet (no #) and I just like having my own phone. After all, I'm still paying for it.
I started at Sea World last wednesday and I think I'm really going to like it. They did thier little pump you up and motivate you to work for thier company thing and it actually worked. I'm excited to have a job where my primary responsibility is to teach people cool facts and help them have a good time. I don't know if I'll be able to post very many pictures this summer. I haven't figured out how to do it on the library computers yet but I'll see what I can do.
My truck is doing well, I thought it was going to break down on me but alas it just needed some power steering fluid. I officially named him Troy. Since I've had him though I've been backing into everything!! He's a bit longer than the geo metro that I learned on. I backe into an apartment building, trash can, the neigbors car, and a metal sign that was cemented into a bucket. Luckily though I was going really slowly for all of these and owe no one for damages. I've just managed to scrape my paint a little. The sign got me the worst. I didn't even know it was there till I hit it.
Well, I miss everyone. Keep in touch. I've gotta get to my auction- peace out!
