Oh---Ouch! Poor Kona! Perhaps you can put 2 tongue depressors each side of her ankle/foot area and wrap it with a stretchy or sticky ACE bandage, tape or gauze. 7 days X 6 weeks = 42 days of putting a fresh bandage on each day. A better idea....
Have a Vet look at it. They might cast it. Then it will heal correctly; you don't have to keep bandaging, & Kona won't be in so much pain. I waited too long to go to the doctor and my toe bones healed crooked. Not very comfortable. Obviously, when she wants to do something fun, she tries to walk on it, but she does not know that this would cause it to be in pain all her life, if she does not stay off it now and let it heal.
Also...there is an herbal tea "Stinging Nettle" that could help. "Bone Knit" blend may help, but I've never used it. Mom
