Big deal. I've seen like a million of those at Boy Scout Camp! ;)

It has been found that bears will attack more when they notice that there are only 3 people or less, but if they think there is a "pack" of about 5 people or more, they will usually not be as likely to attack. It is downright scary to find a bear paw, and I hope that you are extremely careful..and have others with you when you go out tracking, etc. You really should let someone know at work that you spotted it. It's important for a lot of reasons. The person that wrote the first comment obviously knows nothing about this.
There could be a reason it has come into in the area. Bears are not shy, and will come right up and take food, getting into metal containers and ripping them to shreds with their nails, take food right off the camp tables or from anywhere they want and scare people in broad daylight to get the food. their claws are razor sharp and they are not afraid to use them in a slap across a person's face. You don't want to bother with their cute little cub bears either. You want to stay far away from them, or you WILL have a ferocious snarling, growling, mad, clawing mother bear in your face.
Best of Luck,
MJC
