Here are some pics from New Mexico/Texas. I live right on the border-technically I live in Texas and I work in New Mexico. Kona and I explored a biking and hiking trail together. All the plants here have huge thorns or small ones that get stuck in you.

What kind of lizard or bug is this? It sure has plenty of pretty colors. Does it bite, sting or have poison in it's bite? Is it dangerous? Does it fly? It looks kind of like a lizard grass hopper mix to me.
I like the pictures of you with Kona the best, both of them. Nice pictures and it's good to see you even if only on your blog.
