Well, I heard back from 2 jobs who e-mailed me and said my application looked good and they were going to be calling sometime next week for phone interviews. I have to admit I'm a little nervous. What do they ask you in phone interviews. I hate answering those dumb questions like "what are your strenghts and weaknesses?" or "tell me about a time when you did something well at work" sheesh. I hope I get the job. They're both summer positions with room for extension. One is in Az and the other is right smack dab in the middle of San Diego.

Here's me on salmon river. I didn't get a picture, but today we learned to rope. I was pretty good roping cones when I was standing on the ground, but I can't get a darn thing from up on a horse...grr.  Posted by Hello

This is Joe on his horse. His horse and mine are really good friends. If they're not tied up they follow eachother around the arena and we have a hard time with them when we dont ride next to eachother. The one behind always wants to catch up.  Posted by Hello

Here's him all saddled up.  Posted by Hello

My horse...salmon river. I'm going to miss him  Posted by Hello

I'm dreaming of a white...spring

Ok, even though I really don't have new news I wanted to post. I haven't heard back from any jobs. I've applied for about 7 or 8 that I think I qualify for...but we'll see. It snowed yesterday and is all icy and white today. 8 inches dropped last night at targhee. I can't wait to get out of here to where it's warm. Rachel and Kori's birthday was this month, the other Rachel's birthday was yesterday, Erin's is today, Sterling's is this weekend and Fern's is later the next week. There must be something romantic about June.

Monday monday. Most of my mondays are the same...I sleep in and scramble to get my stuff done for the rest of the day. Then it's time for FHE and I end up running errands, taking a test or zoning out. It's overcast, cold and windy today. I really wasn't in the mood for a dreary day. I haven't been working out as much because of my cold and I seemed to have replaced the time I would spend doing that with watching movies. Ugg, why do I do stuff like that. I'm going to work out today though, dreary day, cold and all. I have about 33 days till I'm moving to California, or Arizona or somewhere warmer I can find a job and if it's by the beach I want to be "in shape". Ok, this weekend I went shopping for trucks and found a bunch of trucks that were really close to what I wanted, but nothing I fell in love with so I'm waiting. My ideal, incase you spot anything is a 96 Toyota Tacoma, ex cab, 4WD, 5-speed manual transmission, V6 engine, silver with big tires. All for under $10,000 at at place that will finance first time buyers. Sounds really picky I know, but it's what I want and I have a few dealers telling me it's possible and they're on the look out for it. In the mean time I check ebay and the bulletin at school.
wow, there's a Chinese girl sitting next to me and she's typing this huge e-mail in Chinese. It looks really cool. I don't think I've ever seen anyone use the foreign language fonts before.

I have a head cold. I hate it. It makes my eyes water and my nose run all the time and it's hard to sleep at night. Plus it makes my voice really low. Other than that I'm doing really well. I got a 93 on a test last night and my visiting teachers brought me chicken enchiladas for dinner. They're great. I haven't heard back from any jobs I've applied for, but I'm just going to keep looking casually and wait. Kori had an MRI on her leg yesterday and we found out she chipped a bone in her knee and broke her foot. She'll probably have to have surgery to get the piece of bone out. I think it sucks. All from a hard crash on the snowboard. Who'd of thought. Last Monday was Rachel and Kori's 20th birthday. We had the usual. Cake, balloons...some presents. It snowed yesterday. Just when I thought it was going to be spring. Oh well though. I think it will make it easier for me to leave. To be honest I'm excited to graduate but I'm not to enthused to leave Idaho. I've grown attached to it. After all I've lived here just as long as I lived in Hemet and I call Hemet my "home town". I can't wait to get a cool job though. The feeling of knowing I never have to work fast food again almost feels unreal. I think it'll feel a little more real when I actually land a job. Can I just say that I think moisturized tissues are soo worth it.

The biggest zit you will ever see! If I had a side angle you could see how it deforms the shape of my nose. I used to get these here a lot when I was younger...a teenager (pretend like I said that in a very distinguished tone) why?!! Posted by Hello

ok, I have like 5 seconds till class starts so I'm gonna try and do this asap. Kori fell off her bike on fri. trying to stop for a car too fast and flew over her handle bars: 7 stitches and a trip to the hospital. We didn't end up going boarding, I test drove a few pickups but decided neither of them were worth it. Sat. we rode out bikes to Kori's uncles house and played pool and watched cellular. Then we went back after church on sunday and ate deer that he shot, really good potatoes, corn and buiscuts. We played pool, rode the 4 wheelers and visited her grandparents. I have a GIS test to take tonight. THE END

My front tire. Not bad, but it still isn't ridable. Posted by Hello

Hello hello hello, well a few things have happened since my last post. After all, It's been a week. I gave my first lesson in Relief Society on Sunday so my Saturday mostly consisted of me stressing out about that and a little bit of raquet ball that I didn't really get into. Last week I left one of my favoite pairs of shoes on the van we take out to horseback riding. I went to the lost and found but they weren't there. They're kind of old so I have a feeling they just got thrown away...bummer :(
Monday I went to classes, worked out, studied and went to idaho falls with an FHE brother. We went to the pet shop and I got more crickets for my lizard, a new heat lamp (this one's red and makes my room look cool at night) and a sucker fish to help keep the tank clean. Tuesday morning I was riding my bike to class and I was like 100 ft away from the building in the parking lot when I got hit by a car. I have a few dumb bruises and my front tire on my bike' s screwed up. I was pretty bummed. They did a police report and I missed my class.
The past couple of days I've just been catching up on homework and this guy named Adam came up to visit. He's a friend of Fern and Ty's. Him and Kori get along well.
